Helpful: Audrey is always there for her friends in times of need. Whether they need help with a problem, or in Ed’s case, some help with one of the names on a card. She even cancelled a date with her boyfriend just to help Ed. She is dedicated to helping anyone in need, she is always giving ideas to Ed on what he should do or if he should do something better. Another example is, even though she hates football and would rather be anywhere else; she went to the ‘Annual Sledge Game’ to support her friends.
Understanding: When Ed is going through a hard or tough time he’ll go to Audrey’s house. He will tell her his problem and she will comfort him and ask if she can help him get through the situation. When Ed confronts Audrey and asks if she is the one sending the cards, she understands in why he would think that she is the one sending them. He thinks that she is trying to make him a better person and for him to do something with his life and to help others.
Logical: Audrey is a very down-to-earth person; she says what she believes and has a good reason for why she thinks it is that way. While playing cards at Richie’s house, Ed and Audrey are discussing the cards and what Ed has to do. Audrey then begins to say that ‘whoever this is sure is going to a lot of trouble’, which is very true. Ed then states that the person knows Ed just as much as he knows himself. To which Audrey responds to ‘who knows you real well, Ed?’
